Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted the mygov code generator app because I thought I didnt need it but realized you need a code to login to your MyGov account. So i re-downloaded the app to generate a code to login to the MyGov account, but I cant use the app because it says the device is already registered.

You have to use this dedicated app and cannot link up existing systems like Google Auth, Authy or 1Password etc that are designed for exactly this purpose.
