Sky App Ps4 Buffering

I’m having exactly the same problem. Tried everything suggested. Don’t know if it’s a coincidence but sky go app on PS4 is doing the same. Everything else works perfect (amazon prime, Netflix etc). Even my nowtv box downstairs works fine. Time to sort this out now. I’ve been having this problem for about 3 weeks and it’s driving me crazy.

Having lots of trouble with TV from Sky App on the PS4 as it is always buffering with the spinning circle . The TV from Sky App works fine on our Desktop PC and mobile AND on our old PS3 . For the past few months when we watch tv programmes through the sky app on the ps4 we get a yellow sun in the middle of the screen that I assume is buffering. We have no problems viewing apart from this ring, the programmes run smoothly no pauses etc. This only happens when watching 'on now programmes nothing when watching catch up or films

Again issues with the app on my Mac, not buffering but dropping in picture quailty continuously down to a level where its unwatchable. No issue with BT Sport, iPlayer etc. Really poor and needs fixing works fine through the PS4 app.

I too am constantly getting the buffering problem - i've searched these message boards for a number of solutions and no one seems to be able to offer one. The PS4 app needs fixing from the sound of things. Wired / unwired makes no difference, Now tv runs fine in browser but not through app, no downloads happening on PS4. over 10 mpbs connection.

Re: Sky Go Buffering fixed by reconnect I used to suffer the dreaded buffering issue with sky Go as my broadband speed was only 1.4Mb. I had Infinity installed on Tuesday and my speed is now 60.86Mb Download & 8.41Mb upload

This is an issue on both the Now TV app and the Sky app. Occassionally it is fine but far too often the buffering and the picture quality is awful. Unwatchable. Picture quality on Apple TV Now app is perfect (but the quality of the app functions is way behind the PS4 such as no My TV).
